The Living Legends of Auto Racing, Inc., was founded in 1993 in an effort to recognize, honor and promote the pioneers of beach racing and stock car racing. Today the organization has over 600 members from around the world and is a 501-C-3 non-profit organization. The all-volunteer Daytona Beach , Florida based organization hosts a variety of activities throughout the year and publishes “The Cannonball”, a quarterly newsletter. The Living Legends of Auto Racing Museum of Racing History is operated in South Daytona, Florida . LLOAR co-sponsors with the City of Daytona Beach Shores, the Living Legends of Auto Racing Memorial Brick Walk of Fame featuring inscribed bricks honoring the pioneers of auto racing.
