General information

Join us as we relive the rich aviation history of Houston.

The 1940 Air Terminal Museum has recently acquired the historic hangar designated by Hobby airport as WR-4.

The hangar will house the museum’s collection of aircraft, and also has ample space to serve as a work shop for projects, as well as displaying artifacts.

We all agree that the name WR-4 just doesn’t have the appeal that we would like it to have. Therefore, we will rename the hangar as “The Great Silver Fleet hangar”.
