General information
The Museum houses numerous collections of vehicles, tools, parts and information designed to tell stories of how cars and trucks not only served their original owners, but often evolved through several “lives”. The vehicles include restored, original preserved, repurposed, well worn and end of service examples.
Many of the displayed vehicles are presented as they were found at the end of their useful life. Some even beyond that as in the displays of farm machinery created from the parts of earlier trucks and cars.
As a noted authority on the subject, The Museum also houses an extensive library of books and other “paper” relating to cars and trucks from the 1920’s thru the 1950’s. One major section of the library is dedicated specifically to print advertising of Ford cars and trucks from the ’20’s and ’30’s.
