General information
The castle of Rochetaillée showcases the Automobile Museum Henri Malartre. It shows collections of automobiles, cycles, vintage motorcycles and public transport. One of the highlights is the Hitler parade Mercedes to the Vivastella brothers Lumières, or the wagon of the first Fourvière funicular, discover a hundred exceptional vehicles!
The museum also retains many vehicles manufactured in the Lyon region such as like Luc Court, Rochet-Schneider or Viratelle, now extinct, were the flagships of the global automotive industry of the early 20th century. The museum has a mechanical workshop that maintains and restores vehicles, the majority of which are in working order.
