General information

The new museum reopened in 2008 after some redevelopment. The Stuttgart architects and exhibition designers Atelier Brückner and the Berlin-based ART+COM media designers designed it.

They have a couple of different tours to choose from. Also visit the BMW Group Classic Tour, the BMW Group Plant, and the BMW Welt.

I have to mention the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars exhibition in the BMW Welt Museum.

The first permanent Rolls-Royce exhibition outside the UK takes place at BMW Welt. It not only offers two current Rolls-Royce models, but also an insight into the world of crafts and brands from Rolls-Royce. The Spirit of Ecstasy also plays a central role. The 100th birthday of the legendary hood mascot offered the British star photographer Rankin a great opportunity to create a 100-part series of photos. The photos show artistic, sometimes very personal interpretations of the Rolls-Royce brand. Check out three of these unique masterpieces shown in our exhibition.

A great tribute to the British Brand!
